Art Goes On
I haven't been blogging in quite some time quite to my surprise. I thought I'd be locked up in my studio for the rest of the year due to the pandemic. With that, I would be busy painting and happily sharing with you all. Well, this was not the case. I have been very very busy with so many things that my time in the studio has been only in short spurts. I've learned, I have to know my limitations and commit less and prioritize more. So, MY art has been officially notched up on the priority list and I have rid myself of a lot of those other "things" that took away valuable time from the studio. I look forward to the winter hibernation so I can delve into my work for months.
I just finished my annual October online pastel challenge with a group of wonderful artists. I didn't crank out tons of pieces but I was pretty faithful about staying the course and doing some work every day. Some days I worked on quick studies and others I spent time working on a more complex piece. Here are a couple examples. I'm going to post some of them to my Etsy shop but if you are interested in any, let me know and I'll be happy to work out a deal with you....wink, wink.
